Tonight was all sorts of crazy for me. I had my first solo performance playing original stuff. I did enjoy it and I am relatively glad I did it. A lot of my wonderful church family came and supported me and that was nice. All that being said...DEAR GOD AM I GLAD ITS OVER!
If ever there has been a time that I've been utterly convinced in my lack of ability it was tonight. Sure I made it through and really only messed up once...But I was pretty uncomfortable up there...I'm sure it was just because I've never done that before but still...It was pretty nerve racking...I definitely realized I need to write some new songs...but anyway...
I'm tired and I have to get ready for a retreat tomorrow...See you guys later!
